Panasonic PT-AE7000U Full HD 3D Projector

Panasonic PT-AE7000U Full HD 3D Projector Tube. Duration : 2.63 Mins.

Panasonic came to Projector People with the new, not available yet, 3D PT-AE7000U and gave us a first look!!! At 2000 lumens, the Panasonic PT-AE7000U is about 25% brighter than most similarly-priced 1080p 3D home theater projectors. It provides a 240Hz image in 3D mode, virtually eliminating cross talk. The Panasonic PT-AE7000U also allows you to adjust the depth of the 3D image and is capable of converting 2D content to 3D in real time. LG Electronics CF181D projector goes head-to-head with Panasonic PT-AE4000U and InFocus SP8602

LG Electronics CF181D projector goes head-to-head with Panasonic PT-AE4000U and InFocus SP8602 Tube. Duration : 2.22 Mins.

This morning we had an impromptu shootout of our top offerings in each display category. We compared the Panasonic PT-AE4000U (LCD, 1600 lumens, 100000:1 contrast ratio), LG CF181D (LCoS, 1800 lumens 35000:1 contrast ratio) and Infocus SP8602 (DLP, 1300 lumens 30000:1 contrast ratio). In the video, the Panasonic is on top, the Infocus on the bottom left and the LG on the bottom right. Please note that the Panasonic is at a disadvantage in this shot. The screen was tilted at the top, forcing the Panasonic's image to blur. What do you think of the three projectors?

Panasonic TU-DST51A ATSC DTV HDTV Digital TV Tuner Demonstration

Panasonic TU-DST51A ATSC DTV HDTV Digital TV Tuner Demonstration Video Clips. Duration : 6.25 Mins.

The granddaddy of them all, I believe the first high end, commercially available, ATSC DTV/HDTV tuner. Released in 1999 for 00. There weren't many digital TV stations back then, let alone HDTV, but there were a few hardcore high end home theater freaks that were after 'em. Now 11 years later I wound up with one, so I decided to give it a shot, and it still runs like a champ. They are still sought after today. Those with older TV's or projectors with component video inputs capable of displaying HDTV need such a tuner to get HDTV from over the air, yet manufacturers stopped making these kind of tuners due to lack of demand, as most just go out and get a new flatscreen. Those left with these tuners are usually unwilling to part with them, as well as their older TV's.

Panasonic in the US, is HQ'd in Secaucus, NJ. But they have their digital labs out by Universal Studios in LA. Today, I got a first look at Panasonic's PT-AE7000 (click for specifications) 3D and 2D, 1080p home theater projector! It will be shipping in September! I asked, they could not tell me when in Sept early or late, or... We'll just have to see. A quick comment then some details. I had the opportunity to see a good hour plus of assorted 3D content, including Ice Age 3, and others. This was in Panasonic's "theater" screening room. It's a small theater, with great huge home theater type seats (yep cup holders, too), and it's got all dark surfaces, and a huge screen. PT-AE7000 lens and controls lens shift and control panel We saw the PT-AE7000 as it will be called in the US or PT-AE7000U, also to be known at the PT-AT5000 in the EU, and probably a lot of the rest of the world. It's impossible to make any precise, quick judgements when viewing content you don't or barely know, in a room you are unfamiliar with. For that reason, I reserve all serious judgements for after a PT-AE7000 graces my testing room and theater. That said, it was most impressive! What we have here, is Panasonic's PT-AE70000. It is a 3 LCD panel projector (yes good old transmissive panels (or maybe good "new" panels. I never asked ...

For Special Pricing: www.visualapex.com Panasonic AE8000 released; Epson to unveil new HT line-up Evan Powell — Aug 31, 2012 Panasonic has announced the new PT-AE8000 home theater projector, and Epson is about to release its new home theater line... Panasonic's AE8000 is officially announced today. The latest flagship model in their home theater line incorporates a number of incremental improvements over the popular AE7000. Contrast ratio has been boosted to 500000:1, and lumen output in all operating modes is up by 20% according to the spec sheet, and perhaps even more by our measurements (the rating is 2400 lumens maximum). The color performance has been improved with a stronger red component, yielding more refined videophile picture quality. The AE8000 looks sharper than the AE7000 due to contrast enhancement and improvements in the Detail Clarity Processor. Panasonic's excellent frame interpolation system in 2D has been extended to 3D as well, and a 3D remastering system takes advantage of frame interpolation to smooth out certain motion artifacts in 3D that are a fact of life without FI. The AE8000 comes with newly designed 3D glasses that are lighter weight and more comfortable, and the 3D picture is quite noticeably brighter. No pricing on the AE8000 has been announced yet. Panasonic will begin shipments in September. There are no plans to show it at the CEDIA trade show in Indianapolic next week. Our review of the AE8000 will be posted early next week. Meanwhile ...

Panasonic Viera TH-58PZ800U first look

Panasonic Viera TH-58PZ800U first look Tube. Duration : 1.92 Mins.

The big-screen HDTV arena is still owned by rear-projection models, but with every passing year flat-panel versions, especially plasmas, fall in price and become attractive targets for folks seeking massive home theater pictures. But prices haven't fallen far enough yet for most people, so for the foreseeable future big-screen plasmas like the Panasonic TH-58PZ800U will remain playthings of the rich. If you can afford it, however, this HDTV provides compelling reasons to go flat aside from bragging rights and the possibility of wall-mounting. Those reasons revolve around picture quality, from deep black levels and highly accurate color to the kind of uniformity and viewing-angle performance that puts rear-projection models to shame. Yes, again Pioneer's Elite plasmas delivered better performance overall than this, Panasonic's best plasma for 2008, but for all but the most ardent videophiles the extra price to go Elite won't be worth it. Design Editors' note, October 13, 2008: The review originally indicated that the 58-inch TH-58PZ800U shares the same "single pane of glass" design found on the 50-inch TH-50PZ800U. That is incorrect; it has a traditional bezel raised about 1/4-inch from the screen. The massive Panasonic has an unassuming look that differentiates itself somewhat by virtue of a slightly curved lower edge that forms the bottom of a sort of lower lip. Colored charcoal grey to contrast with the rest of the glossy black panel, the lower section bears the company ...
