Shows my home built planetarium projector - at the end of this video if you pause you can read about the junk it's made from - selotape tins, vegatable tins, margarine tub tops, press studs, cut mirrors & hand wound transformers... Anything I could lay my hands on. The projector was used while teaching evening classes for 3 years for the University College of London (I am pleased to say that my class numbers held up) and also it was used when I was at The South London Astronomical Society to teach people to find their way around the night sky and featured in a local paper. I wonder if any of my "students" remember this (and me)...
