HOME THEATER-PRO 1 (with before/after pics)
HOME THEATER-PRO 1 (with before/after pics) Video Clips. Duration : 8.95 Mins.
Audio/Video by Lynn-Special thanks to:Richard Hines,Julio Davila. Best crew ever! Uhpolstery by:Tim Williams from First Impressions Theme Theaters. You are Awesome! Also thanks to The Berlin Family for their putting up with the noise and mess these kind of jobs create. This is a True HD theater in all aspects. The sources include Appletv (for 1080P movie rental/purchase downloads and youtube viewing),HD Satellite,HD Cable,Bluray,FM Radio,XM Radio. The system incorporates 7.3 Klipsch surround sound and a 30000:1 contrast ratio JVC RS2 projector. The projector fires through a port in the wall and is mounted on a hanging bracket in the garage. This allows ample breathing room and a quiet environment for the theater room. The remote dock was designed to be backlit when the system was on, giving the occupants a visual indicator that the system was in fact on during warm up times,or source switching. The placement of the speakers follow the "Golden Triangle" rule which includes the surround speakers located in the drop down ceiling. The drop down ceiling was nessicary due to the location of the studs and the Golden Triangle rule for speaker placement. The overhead surrounds are EXCELLENT for reproducing "Fly over" effects in movies and the rear speaker locations are at the exact same height as the front sound stage. This creates a stunningly realistic experience when watching movies, and with three subwoofers totaling 30'' of cone area, you will be blown back into your seat if ...

AVATAR Home Theatre Demo, One Button Automation, Advanced Home Theatre Systems
AVATAR Home Theatre Demo, One Button Automation, Advanced Home Theatre Systems Video Clips. Duration : 3.65 Mins.
In this clip we show the overall design of our theatre. The theatre took approximately six months to construct from scratch in a home basement. Our goal was to build a home theatre that was not just fully automated but also very clean in design and at a price that is very affordable. When it comes to home theatres people often assume that is very expensive and that they will never be able to afford it. So they don't even bother to look into it. Sure, for a hardcore enthusiast with a lot money to spare the sky is the limit. But you can also build yourself a very descent home theatre and on a reasonable budget. The video you're about to see is an example of such home theatre. So without further ado, sit down comfortably in front of your monitor, dim the lights and prepare to be blown away. The first thing to consider when you are thinking about a home theatre is what you will use for your video display. If you plan on using a projector the room will need to be dark which means that your walls and ceiling should be of dark color and preferably matte texture. The goal here is to prevent as much as possible the light reflected from the walls and ceiling to shoot back toward the screen. Otherwise, your picture will appear washed out and lacking in contrast. In our case we went a step further by angling our walls and have outfitted them with a carpet like material to improve sound acoustics. When constructing our theatre we decided from the beginning that all of our equipment ...

DIY Home Theater Screen
DIY Home Theater Screen Video Clips. Duration : 16.18 Mins.
This is a start-to-finish look at how I built my 124" projector screen using countertop laminate, aluminum tubing, 1x3s, and fleece. I'll do my best to answer everyone's questions in the comments. Make sure you check out my other videos if you have questions about the IR lighting setup because I cover the specifics of what is needed to set the remote controlled lighting up. Music: Kevin MacLeod
